End of July Progress

I took these photos before a storm that was going to produce hail. 
The storm only lasted 15 minutes with no hail. The Garden was safe.

Gone!

Just wanted to report that Rory's 3 Sunflowers, she was growing from seed that were in the Garden bed, are GONE! I don't know how but some animal came and snatched them away I guess.

Anticipation: Tomatos and Heat

My most anticipating tomato plant. Aunt Molly's ground cherry.
I only have one (from seed that has survived) in my garden.

My team and I weeded and spread some hay to keep the
moisture in the ground.

Not only is this thing blooming for the first time in years, I now have
2 different colors on the same plant. Neat.
